Title: Every Little Thing (Hart’s Boardwalk #2)
Author: Samantha Young
Release Date: March 7, 2017
The quiet town of Hartwell is the perfect place to get away from it all – and find what you never knew you needed . . .
Bailey Hartwell has many reasons to feel content – her successful business, a close circle of friends and her steady boyfriend . . . even if their romance feels staid after ten years without a serious commitment. The only challenge in her life comes in the form of sexy businessman Vaughn Tremaine. She thinks the ex-New Yorker acts superior and that he considers her a small-town nobody. But when Bailey’s blindsided by a betrayal, she’s shocked to discover Vaughn is actually a decent guy.
Vaughn admires Bailey’s free spirit, independence and loyalty. As his passion for her has grown, his antagonism toward her has only worsened. Every little thing Bailey does seduces him. But when Vaughn’s painful emotional past makes him walk away in fear he will hurt her, it opens an old wound in Bailey, and she uncharacteristically retreats.
Once Vaughn begins to realise he’s made the biggest mistake of his life, he has no choice but to fight like he’s never fought before to convince Bailey that the love they’ve found together only comes around once in a lifetime . . .

Annnnnd we’re back on the boardwalk!!
I have to admit, I missed reading about that gorgeous and idyllic seaside town. With it’s calming waters, unique stores and quirky inhabitants.
So welcome back gang and WOWSER!! What a story Samantha Young gave us this time. Gone is the sleepy town, hello to the DRAMA, the intrigue and the banter!
I adore Bailey. She really is Hartwell’s princess but I would do anything to be friends with her. To wander the boardwalk, to have a coffee in Emery’s coffee shop, to have dinner with, to be around. She really is a people person.
All except for around a certain local hotelier. Vaughn Tremaine. Around him she becomes tenacious, a scowling person with word diarrhoea. She can’t help but spout some hurtful things to Tremaine. But he gives as good as he gets. Bailey’s life is soon shaken up more than she can happily cope with and for once, she needs help and looks for it from an unlikely source.
Vaughn has his own story to tell. But he keeps very tight-lipped. He refuses to allow his emotions to rule his head – he hasn’t become as successful as he is through his feelings. So why hasn’t he moved on to his next business venture? What is keeping him in Hartwell?
This story is sweet, it is a haters-to-lovers trope, it is a joy and a delight to pass the time reading about this town and its people. Samantha Young, has yet again, painted the picture of a perfect town with some wonderful people. I cannot wait for more. Pllllleeeeeeaaaaassssse say Emery is next?!
