This book was a beautiful story and I really in enjoyed reading it. I fell in love with Jordon and my heart broke for him, but my heart also believed in him and my heart sang for him. This book shows how one mistake can make the best people, be seen differently from the world and in this book, even though Jordon made one mistake, he was still such a lovely, heart-warming man who lost a good part of his life.
It makes you see that not all people who went to jail are horrid.
This books shows how hard it is for ex con’s to be able to be given a second chance at life without looking over their shoulder or not been given a fair chance. This book shows you how injustice plays a big part in the world’s justice system. How one mistake and you become a forgotten piece of trash. Not loved by one single person.
Jordon was full of guilt and that was heart breaking to read,
“I didn’t dare let myself think that far in future. I still had six weeks of parole to get through. And a lot can happen in six weeks. A lot can happen in six seconds.”
The book also made me laugh out loud, the fact Jordon says…
“enormous fucking log that had planted itself in my pants”
Not a poo ladies, HELL NO this was his excited sausage. It still makes me laugh still, weeks later.
Overall a beautiful written book, the book did go over the same stuff a bit, but then there were moments in this book when ur heart broke and your willing that the love story of Jordon and Torrey can make it, because even the one person who the world know shouldn’t turn their back on them, did.
Can they make it, after everyone believes they are nothing but trash.
Some HOT moments
Some SAD moments
Some GRIPPING moments
