They say you can never go home again. Brenna James is about to finish her final year of college when a visit home could change everything. Fate was pushing her towards her childhood best friend, Tucker, leaving Brenna no other option than to remember memories from a time once forgotten.
Can Tucker slip himself into her heart?
Will he be able to show her his feelings?
The biggest question is, can Tucker help Brenna remember love?
The book has sexual situations and language intended for ages 18 & up.
Krystle’s Review –
That moment, its cold you have a cup of tea, the is heating on, you’re in pj’s and you just want a book that you know you will LOVE and get so wrapped up in, that you will become the characters. Well yep I got that with this book…TWICE.
As soon as Brenna bumped into tucker, I was gone!!!!! Tucker Wade (what a HOT name) I want a Tucker Wade,
“As I’m standing in line, I hear the door open. Naturally I turn to see who it is, I am stunned. I haven’t seen this person in what seems like forever and, oh boy, has he changed.”
I’m squealing already!!!!(page one) I’m already in love and I haven’t finished page two yet. You can just feel the connection, the story that is about to happen all from page two. I had butterflies and I couldn’t wait to keep going, even the second time I read this book I still felt excited.
“Close your mouth Brenna, before you catch flies” he says
The remarks that Tucker says just don’t add up to the events of their childhood and Brenna is left confused but very turned on. She needs to find out, what happened all that time ago.
“because, if you run away again, I want to remember every single detail of the grown woman standing in front of me to go along with all the other details I’ve had stored from years past.”
You just want this to be it, you can feel this is it and you wish that you had what they had from the very first moment they meet.
There are a lot of moments where my heart melted and then there were moment when I was at the edge of my seat, but there were many moments when I just sat back and pissed my pants. Lexi, Brenna’s best friend. Is just like my friend Natalie (One of 4brits) the things she does, Nat would do!!!!
“Sorry Tucker, just needed some milk, didn’t mean to cock block!” winking at me she runs out the door.
Then there are the showers, did I say how hot Tucker Wade is, and how hot it would be to have a shower with him. Erm let me tell you this… it’s HOT and u will be dirtier when u get out of that love tub.
Then there is my FAVOURITE SCENE OF ALL TIME, FROM ALL THE BOOKS I EVER READ……..
“my question is answered, when he leaps over the deck rail and starts towards me”
What comes after that moment is just amazing, my face hurt from smiling. Even now I’m smiling and I know months, years to come that scene in this book will make me smile.
Sadly Ex’s pop up and you just want to kick them and run them over, but can Tucker and Brenna fight them off, has too much happened in their past and have too many tears already fallen.
When you have a love this strong surely not????
This book is a series but the almighty Riley has left no cliff-hanger and I’m sure your finish it sad that’s its over but happy that you had the chance to read about a true love story.

these songs in Embracing Love. I have listened to all of
them while writing, some of them over and over. I would open the playlist and
get lost in the music while writing. Each song has lyrics that fit with the
characters, and their story. There are a couple songs that mean more than
others. When I say I had them on repeat, they were on repeat for hours! My
husband is thankful for my ear buds.

My review –
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
I need a Liam. Or an Evan! Both amazing book boyfriends and, for once, I’m not on a “team”!
My overall feelings towards this book were that it has an amazing and touching storyline but the writing could have been better.
I got confused in parts where time had lapsed suddenly and at times I wasn’t sure which dialogue was whose but I grasped the storyline quite quickly.
I feel for the characters in the book. They found themselves in all sorts of life changing situations and they weren’t all good ones. My emotions were all over the place!
I cried.
I laughed.
I got so damn angry I wanted to throw my Kindle!!
I mourned.
Twists and turns at every corner and a blooming stunning cliffhanger leave me needing more but some changes to the style of writing need to be made! I managed to look past it to the nitty gritty of where Delisa Lynn wanted to take us and have awarded 3.5 stars!

Schizoaffective disorder: a mental illness in which a person experiences a combination of mood disorder and schizophrenia symptoms. I know about this illness—very well—because I suffer from it. It’s been four years since my diagnosis, and ever since, I’ve been living in a dark hole. Voices constantly invading my thoughts. Hallucinations. All of which force me to question if what I’m experiencing is even reality. But here I am, still hanging on, still breathing and living through it. That is, until he stumbled into my life. Logan Reed. I don’t want any part of him. I’ve pushed him away, but he isn’t easily deterred. I’ve told him I’m different, but he doesn’t care. He’s trying to slowly break me down. Excerpt – (unedited and subject to change)
“He’s very handsome.” My mom says quietly beside me.
“Who?”
“Well both of them are actually, but I was referring to Spencer.”
I turn in my chair to look at my mom who is looking at me like she knows exactly what I’m thinking.
How do moms do that?
“Yes he is,” I reply to her while turning back around to continue watching everyone.
Well, maybe not everyone. I am really only watching one right now. He must feel my eyes on him because he turns to grin at me. It’s obvious he knows I’d been watching him. He winks at me then turns his attention back to the men.
“Interesting.” Mama mutters beside me.
“What’s interesting?”
“Oh, I don’t know. Maybe the way you two look at each other, but yet you’re only friends. Or the fact that your cheeks are flushed from just one little smile and wink from him. I’ve never seen you have this reaction before.”
No, she hasn’t, because I’ve never met anyone that affected me like Spencer does. Mama knows that I am holding out for the right guy for me. I want what she and dad have and Brenna and Tucker. I don’t want a man to love me for a little while with only half of his heart. I want his whole heart, with no memories of past ghosts haunting him. I will not share him with anyone, past or present. I’m greedy like that.
“If you want him Lexi, then fight for him. Help him heal. Open your heart to him. Show him how it is to really be loved.”
“I don’t even know what happened to him.”
“Well then, Alexia, I suggest you figure it out.” She never uses my real name, unless she means business. “Trust me, it may be a bumpy ride but the end result will make it all worthwhile.”
“Thanks Mama.” I say to the woman who has always had my best interest at heart. She smiles and pats my hand as I lean over and place a kiss on her cheek.
Synopsis –
After a series of catastrophic misunderstandings and impulsively poor decision-making, Scarlett MacGregor finds herself once again torn between two loves, as different as they may be. Lacking proper closure with their relationship, accompanied by the overwhelming guilt for her role in his devastating downfall, Scarlett resolves to help Mason recover and reclaim his life as a budding rock star. However, now that he has finally claimed her as his, Ash Walker is bound and determined to keep her by his side, and he will go to any lengths necessary to do just that.
Mason Templeton has hit rock bottom. He’s in love with a girl whose heart and soul belong to another and he’s partied his way off of an international music tour that was supposed to be his big break. Returning home for rehab sounds like the worst possible way to start a new year, but when an unexpected friendship emerges, he begins to realize that maybe everything does happen for a reason.
Euphoria is the third and final installment of Scarlett, Ash, and Mason’s self-discovering journeys to happiness and understanding the meaning of true love ~ the kind that begs for complete surrender.
My review –
The outcome to any love triangle isn’t going to please everybody! It’s impossible to!
I’ve read some reviews about others’ opinions and damn, you guys were truly invested in the “Who will Scarlett pick?” way of life!
I adored the writing in all three books. Easy to read, draws you in, fantastic playlists and absolutely amazing references to our other book boyfriends that we were cheating on with Ash, Mason or both!
Yes, there is an awful part in the 80% region. Yes, there was loud sobbing, a pile of tissues and abuse ranted towards Erin! BUT(!) to me the sign of a well written book is one that makes me feel! Hell, I was on the opposite team to the guy involved in the twist! Poor Scarlett. My heart bled and my eyes welled for her over and over again during the last 13% or so.
The trilogy had a fantastic storyline featuring, not only our favourite book boyfriends from other authors, but two or three new ones to adore (because I fell for Max a little in Euphoria, I have to be honest!) There was also an epilogue that allowed you to feel peace at what happened to the three of them in the 2 or so years since they all met.
The Book Boyfriend series is a must read. Except if you’re hormonal. Then avoid until a safer time!! Well done Erin, I’m proud to call you a friend xxx
